Gracious reception, attention to individual diners' needs, very good food. Prices, especially for wine & liquor, are in the heavens. Very nice room. Just like the old days.

We received a warm welcome from the propietor and his staff even though we had never been here before. They patiently explained dishes to us and made recommendations. The wine list was extensive and included some excellent choices. We were 4 and had lobster salad appetizers, veal chops, branzini (fish) and bass. With desserts, wine & tip, the bill was about $500. The food was superb and the service exemplary.
