With its constant influx of studiers, first daters and procrastinators, Push Cafe proves to be the ideal hangout spot for Generations X and Y. Plump couches and laid-back fare create a comfy environment for those wishing to temporarily hide from the world. Whether it be at 7AM or 2AM, a healthy mix of coffee drinks help keep some customers awake with either caffeine (the Red Eye), or a rush of sugar (chunky cappuccino with ice cream), while others prefer to wind down with a beer or glass of wine. In addition to redundant bakery fare -- muffins, scones, pound cake, etc. -- the menu also offers a selection of reasonably-priced sandwiches, salads and Mediterranean specialties, such as cheese bourekas (pockets of cheese-filled phyllo dough), hummus and falafel platters, and savory spinach cheese quiche.
