Hopefully the tranquility fountain at the door sets the mood as you ease into this meditative restaurant that serves up soul food of a different kind. They stand proudly behind their mission statement to nourish your soul as well as your body, with meals dedicated to your health made from the best produce available. Encompassing many cuisines, the menu is quite extensive and an impressive vegan/vegetarian feat. Tonkatsu chops (breaded gluten-pork chops), Creole soul chicken (panko-breaded seasoned soy-chicken), eggplant parmesan and salmon teriyaki (glazed soy-salmon) all share the same space and are just a small sampling of the entrees. If dabbling is what suits you, order a few appetizers from the ethnically comprehensive list. You can have salmon rolls, Caribbean-jerk-spiced seitan, pesto scallion focaccia and Asian dumplings all in one worldly meal. Samuel Smith Organic Lager, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and a few red and white wines, some of which are organic, round out the short drink menu. -- Ashley Lederer

Good Time
By mx6yo on 04/10/2006
I went to restaurant recently, and had the eggplant parm. It was very good. Everything on the menu is either vegetarian or vegan, so in that sense it is wonderful, but some of the things are fried which kinda defeats the purpose of a nice healthy meal. (but of course, there are tons of things on the menu, so you never have to order fried if you dont wish to) It's a good place to take a group of friends as the atmosphere lends itself to quiet conversation. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the place was clean, but very tiny, try not to go during busy time, because you'll probably have to wait for a good while. I would definitely go again.

Alo next door we love that place as well there other resturant its always busy when we go down there so we'll take a tabel at what ever pops up first. There vegan ice creams the best. The food is great the people the atmostpher I forgive the carroty sauce! Portions are huge. Took friends from out of town we ordered a ton of stuff and drank alot of imported beer and it was fantastic!
