great bar/lounge atmosphere at night....new lights and great music make this place a perfect relaxed,but cool place to chill out with some great beer and people.The bartenders are some of the coolest and best looking in new york.

A WONDERFUL,ILLOGICAL MISH MASH.....walk in to a darkly lit,with wonderful touches of kitchy color...listen to an excellently ecclectic mix of music(chosen by the bartender),order one of 70 excellent german,europian beer,from a suprisingly intellegent,witty,goodlooking bartender,perhaps order some authentic german food,and prepare to stay all night.This place sort of sneeks up on you, as the multi mixed design,and dining components mesh to mixed perfection.The service is excellent and jovial.Kithcy meets authentic meets style meets fun......music is occasionally too loud,but who cares....

food was authentic German. The sauerbraten was good. Too much smoke.
