The famed New York City steakhouse evokes a retro environment in a modern way. Strip House is known for prime signature cuts of New York Strip Steak and Rib Eye charred to perfection. Table- carved Double Porterhouse and Cote du Beouf add drama to the experience. Decadent side dishes include Black Truffle Cream Spinach and Goose Fat Potatoes. The wine list offers depth and breadth to enhance the dining experience. Part of the experience is the sumptuous, all red décor designed by David Rockwell featuring vintage photographs from Vienna?s Studio Manasse.

After dinnning several times I can report with out qualification that this is a terrific steak house A recent trip a few weeks ago when I chose to dine on swordfish---prepared perfectly-- tender moist and so full of flavor--only proves the kitchen can do no wrong Add to that great atmosphere and you have got the ingredients for a great night out

The 16oz. ny strip is to die for. It was perfectly cooked, so juicy and flavorful. I ordered it with the sweet chili sauce and it came with steak sauce - but neither were needed. I was actually sad when I was done eating it! I also had the shrimp appitizer, goosefat potato as a side (like a crisp potato cake) and the biggest piece of chocolate cake I have ever seen for dessert. It was a great meal. I will def. be back!! My only complaint is that the tables are a little close together... P.S. be ready to spend money too- but completely worth every penny!!!

Snotty service - medium food
By haksinger on 09/10/2005
I had a prime rib there. Without being asked what size (I wasn't aware that they came in different sizes), I was delivered a side of beef that nearly bankrupted my date. I wish I could say it was good, but I've had better at Texas chain restaurants. A lot of hoopla and expense for a disappointing evening!

I love it !!! The steaks are great. But because I am a lobster bisque fan, I pop in for their fabulous lobster bisque soup when ever I can.
