Opened by Jimmy Bradley in October 2001, this Tribeca favorite is a restaurant remarkably in tune with its neighborhood and the city at large. Featuring seasonal contemporary American cuisine from Chef Amanda Freitag and sincere hospitality in a handsome and casually elegant setting, The Harrison instantly makes you feel like you?ve come home. The restaurant also boasts a private dining room housed in its award-winning wine cellar, outdoor café with Hudson River views and a bar that begs to be dined at for a less formal evening. Be sure to try Freitag?s inspired Parmesan Fritters with Black Forest Ham and Smoked Mozzarella, Char Grilled Octopus with Fingerlings, Feta and Fresh Mint and a killer Pork Chop with Coco Beans, Pancetta, Escarole and Thyme.

Excellent lunch. Great salads, crispy fried clams, other appealing choices. Plesantly full but not jammed. First rate service.

Wed. 1/30 Another hip Tribeca restaurant. The space is very nice with a mix of New England/country-French style. The food was delightful, especially the pork chop, chicken, and brussel sprouts. The service was attentive and giving. A great addition to the Tribeca dining scene.

A lovely place with decadent food. Sit at the bar and have some amazing wine and the chopped salad and split a pizza- you'll feel like a beautiful person without the attitude. I've always found the service to be good, and attitude-free.

The food and the atmosphere in this restaurant is great..the white pizza is the best appetizer around. However, the 2 times I was there, we had the same snooty waiter who acted like he was doing us a favor by waiting on us. Lose the attitude.
