Tony's has served up some of the best old NY Italian favorites. Our cooking comes from Southern Neapolitan traditions and served up in huge family style platters that serve 2 to 3 people.

Yummy!
By ga1al on 01/06/2006
A wonderful place to eat reasonably. It is a lot like Carmines. some of the food is better, some not as good. BUT the attitude is inifinitely better. The hostess actually smiles and is happy to great you. the maitre d actually wants to know if everything is alright. The noise level is tolerable so you can have a conversation. There isn't the chaos of a high school cafeteria like Carmines. The portions are a bit smaller than Carmines. The fried Calamari was very good. The Pena a la Vodka is better at Carmines but the Linguine with clam sauce is far superior here. The rubber clams at Carmines is horrendous. Here you get actual fresh clams. The entrees are about the same but they could add a few more. The Paper tablecloths are a no-no and cheapens the place beyond belief. It is like going to a restaurant not a high school gym.

NOT TO LONG AGO I WENT TO TONYS I THE FOOD WAS GREAT I HAD GOTTEN ONE MEAL WRAP UP. WHEN I WENT HOME I DECIDED TO HEAT UP MY PASTA. ALL OF A SUDDEN I STARTED TO EAT MY PASTA AND I CRUNCHED INTO A DEAD FLY. I WAS TERRIFIED ABOUT THIS IT MADE MY SICK FOR QUITE A WHILE. PLEASE NEVER EAT FROM TONY'S NOT ALWAYS THE FANCY RESTURANTS COULD BE THE GREAT.
