Car Dopo Teatro Trattoria   

I went out with 7 girlfriends to have pre-theater dinner and go to a show. We chose this place after conducting some research, pre-theater dining may be a tricky proposition, especialy that it was 8 of us. The restaurant was great. They took reservations only a few days in advance. We were seated proptly in a beautiful area downstrais. There was a waterfall wall, very interesting interior. The food was excellent. We ordered a bunch of things and absolutely loved everything. The brick-oven pizza - amazing. I had the taglierini with mussels; it was exuisite. The best pasta I ever had... Everyone loved the food. The service was fast and attentive. Hands down this was the best pre-theater experience I've encountered. I went back a few times already and everything was perfect. If you want excellent Italian food in a beautiful place with fast and friendly service close to the theaters, this is a great choice!!!

Again and again, the best part of our trips to New York are spent eating here. Excellent food, excellent wait staff, excellent atmosphere. This truly is our (I have two teenagers)FAVORITE place in all of New York. Can't wait to go back.
