Go to Satin Dolls' TV celebrity makes it a sightseeing destination for curiosity-seekers perhaps not accustomed to hanging out in go-go bars. Just outside the bar entrance, a glass display case sports Bada-Bing t-shirts, sweatpants and tote bags for the busloads of 'Sopranos' fans that keep poking their noses in. At the bar, silicone-enhanced dancers wriggle around a raised platform shedding layer upon scanty layer of clothing. On weekend nights, Satin Dolls takes on that inimitable atmosphere of pent-up desire, frustration, and antic spirits you can find at dozens of lesser-known Hudson County go-go bars.
