Mamie07's Review 12/30/2006
Nothing as special as one would like in an Irish pub. They serve chintzy drinks in small glasses and charge throught the nose for them. One would like a neighborhood pub to serve up a good pour. I wouldn't even mind the inflated Red Bank prices, if they gave you a reasonable drink in exchange. Both McDonagh's in Keyport or the Claddagh in Highlands are better pubs.

The two stars are for authentic atmosphere alone (peeling paint, holes in walls, etc.) The happy chatter from the sitting rooms also seemed appropriate and fun. But the food? Godawful. Folks are critical enough about Irish food as it is; why fan the flames further? Then again, if you burn everything maybe people won't notice the lack of flavor).
