Bachagaloops Restaurant-Pizza   

This cheerful pizza joint has been feeding and entertaining families for years. The interior is bright and busy with colorful murals, a child-activated electric train set running overhead and the Cartoon Network playing on TV. On Wednesdays, Snooky the clown visits to paint faces and make balloon sculptures. But the main attraction at Bachagaloop's is creating your own pizza. Pizza dough, partially baked, is brought to the table with tomato sauce, shredded cheese, and a variety of toppings. The kids get to work, and their pizzas are finished in the oven. They are then served back to the little chefs along with a "diploma" in pizza-making from Bachagaloop's University. While the kids are busy in their fun, messy and fruitful enterprise, parents and adults can enjoy one of 72 traditional or "outrageous" pies. If the lox with a schmear pizza or the potato pierogi pizza sound like too much to handle, the regular entrees -- lasagna, shrimp scampi, and chicken parmigiana -- here can all put the Italian chain restaurants to shame.
