Chan's Dragon Inn

Over 40 years after it opened its doors, this over-the-top institution has benefited from gaudy tiki decor, a central location and consistent Polynesian-Chinese food. Traditional Chinese dishes provide a solid foundation and have been the heart of Chan's existence, but fun Polynesian dishes like royal seafood Hawaii put some spice into predictable Cantonese dishes like moo shoo pork and chicken with broccoli. The pu-pu platter has enjoyed a great run as a go-to starter dish here, but Chan's has also showed a penchant for staying modern with offerings like Grand Marnier shrimp and teriyaki-bathed fish dishes.
