Office Beer Bar & Grill   

One in a small chain of seven Office bars scattered around northern New Jersey, this one is incredibly popular among locals. It's part American restaurant, part sports bar: In one half, families and business types quietly down their burgers, steaks, wraps, and fajitas from lunchtime on through dinner. On the other side of the room, though, testosterone predominates and the action centers around a long bar, a set of TVs constantly tuned to sports channels, and the cheap (often $2) brews that flow in abundance. In fall, Sunday and Monday are, of course, the peak times here -- Jets and Giants games going nonstop, plus a wing-eating contest (with the winners squaring off in local and regional finals from other bars!) on Monday nights. There are also plenty of special promotions here --Octoberfest, Cinco de Mayo, and the like -- that bring beer specials lasting for up to six freakin' weeks at a time. Party on.
