Forget your cholesterol count for just a moment and embrace the ambience and food of the River Palm Terrace, one of New Jersey's finest steakhouses. The River Palm claims that only one percent of all the beef raised in America is suitable for use in its restaurants. That means quality is paramount here, while the rest of the steakhouse experience is par for the course: cherry wood dining room punctuated by crisp white tablecloths, French onion soup and sliced beefsteak tomato and Bermuda onion salad, a la carte sides of cottage fries and creamed or garlic-sauteed spinach. You could always order veal or lobster, but the point here is really to choose your favorite cut of beef, be it decadent porterhouse or marbled NY shell steak. After dinner there's extra creamy cheescake, chocolate or Grand Marnier souffles or key lime pie to enjoy.
