Please do not read these other reviews that discuss the 'basic fair' as the food here is fantastic. The food is the best American friendly Cuban food I have had. Their goat cheese balls are to die for as are their cultural accurate plantains. The atmosphere is great and gives you the feeling you are on vacation (unless you go on weekend nights during the winter when the garden is closed). The owner, although controversial, is actually quite accommodating. The wait staff is hit or miss. I have had great and I have had "let's get you out so I can get more tables and make more money". We have had several dinners here and have been quick to choose this as a place to take our visiting friends. They have all been as delighted with the food as we were. Go at an unpopular time and relax. This is a find for tasty Cuban food. The menu is diverse and has always pleased the pick palettes of our friends. Go, enjoy, relax, eat, drink and be merry.
