Wheatfields   

Over Labor Day weekend, we only had time for one restaurant visit during our 27 hour visit to Omaha. Wheatfield's at One Pacific Place was our choice. It was a beautiful Sunday morning, so we sat outside enjoying both the sunshine and the music. Our server, Joni, was the very best. She met and/or anticipated our every need. The food was excellent. You have not had a belgian waffle until you try their Creme Brule Belgian waffle. I would give this establishment 10 stars if it was possible.

Almost too much to choose from in the menu! Go with their breakfast selections and you won't be disappointed. Service can be slow and it's a sure bet that it'll be packed on Sat and Sun mornings. No matter what, pick up a loaf of their pumpkin bread all year round - they are famous for it.

I have been to this restaurant several times and have never been disappointed. There is lots to choose from on the menu but I enjoy the breakfast items the most.
