There aren't many venues that can make the jump from an all-encompassing sports bar to a cozy neighborhood pub, but the Centerfield Sports Bar & Grill is one of those rare establishments that covers all of the bases (pardon the pun). Naturally, Centerfield carries every sporting event imaginable on its six big-screen televisions, as well as on the smaller monitors peppered around the rest of the bar, but none of the games are completely enjoyable without delving into one of the kitchen's pre-game tailgating dishes (the inexpensive cheeseburger and steak fries are an unbelievable deal). Early-rising pigskin fans are privy to a hearty breakfast during football season, with a menu that ranks right up there with any four-star eatery in the county. If you'd rather play than watch, shoot stick at one the pristine pool tables (for free on Sundays and Mondays), or slip a few quarters into one of the video games or electronic dartboards. And if you want to play hooky from work and not get caught, bring your laptop and hook yourself up to the wireless Internet hotspot where your boss will think you're just an e-mail away.

LOVE THE PLACE
By Brendasbrokers on 07/30/2008
Centerfield is the type of bar you want 2 go 2. It has a million tvs 2 watch your favorate sports or ufc fihgt. The food is surprizingly goood! And I have to recomend the huge 32oz scooners at happy hour. What a bargain! Still, the reason I go to Centerfield is it always has a casual atomsphere, and the people who like warm and friendly frequent there!

Hell with TV's

I am probably being too nice but this was a dump. There should be a cover charge to deter people from going here. Turn away and run!

Poor Service
By gretz802 on 08/30/2006
I was new in town and was told this was a great sports bar. First impression is good, lots of TVs, could get about any game. However after going there a few times the service was horrible. One waitress in particular served us more than once and each time she was very rude and definitely had an attitude. It maybe look like a great sports bar but service is much more important than looks and we will never go back there
