It's obvious from first glance that Patsy's is a classic American take on the Irish pub (think Kelly green clovers and beer banners all over the place), although it has much more to offer than just pints full of Guinness and stained oak furnishings. This friendly establishment also serves up an impressive collection of pub food like burgers, fish and chips and hearty sandwiches. There isn't that much actual Irish food on the menu though -- most items are traditionally English, such as the shepherd's pie and bangers and mash. Since Patsy's is in a recluse location with very few family-style restaurants, it gets a healthy rush during the lunch and dinner hours. But once the grill closes down around 9PM, the lights dim, the music (mostly classic rock and top 40) gets turned up and the stage even hosts the occasional band. Certain nights will see that same stage as the site of unabashed karaoke singing by the local 40-and-over crowd that make up most of inland Laguna.
