Once in a great while, the planets align and deliver unspeakable joy to the males of our species. ESPN Zone at Downtown Disney is such a gift. The venue is 36,000-plus square feet of pure sports, divided into three areas. The Sports Arena is interactive, with competitive games and a massive rock-climbing wall. The Screening Room is the nerve center of the facility. It's essentially a viewing arena with a mammoth 16-foot screen and more than a dozen "small" 36-inch screens showing everything from racing and rugby to hoops and hockey. The Studio Grill offers traditional American cuisine in a site crafted in part to resemble the ESPN Studios in Bristol, Conn. To ensure that not a moment of viewing time is lost, the Zone thoughtfully provides televisions in the restrooms. The ESPN Zone is good fun for males of all ages, though spouses and families no doubt find plenty of good food and entertainment inside as well.

My party received the absolute worst service. The manager was clueless and was unwilling to help when our order did not arrive for 45 mins. I would not recommend ever visiting this location.

The ESPN Zone is the best place to go for those early Saturday morning college football games. It opens at 9:00, right when the early ABC games are on. The local station tends to broadcast cartoons instead of the game! Anyways, the service is nothing stellar, nor are the prices all that reasonable, but the TV spread is nothing short of amazing. 4 booths feature LCD touchscreen monitors where you can choose which game to watch at your table, and the main big-screen area shows every single sporting event that is going on at the time. If you want to see all the games at once, the ESPN Zone is the place to be. Especially around 9:00 on a Saturday morning, when you can get the best seat in the house.

So Much Fun

The ESPN Zone is one of the greatest places on earth. I am a female who loves sports, and this place rocks. They have food, alcohol, an arcade with the theme of the games revolving around what else? SPORTS. This place is so worth coming back to again and again.
