It's a bit like visiting your grandmother's old California bungalow, which might explain why The Cottage has long been one of Laguna's most popular spots for breakfast. There are numerous egg dishes, pancakes, french toast and, our favorite, corned beef hash with a poached egg. Lunch leans toward burgers and pastas, but dinner can produce some good seafood, fish and chicken dishes.
