Encompassing 160 acres in Costa Mesa, the Orange County Fairground serves as a hub for community activities. Though best known as home to the County Fair each summer, the grounds stay booked year-round with a wide variety of other events. Shows, conventions, expos, races, auctions and festivals of all kinds find their way onto the calendar of activities each year. The facilities include several buildings and arenas available for rent, an Equestrian Center offering boarding and training, and a working 3-acre farm where visitors can learn about livestock and crops. The Orange County Marketplace, a swap meet boasting over 1,200 vendors, is held at the fairground each weekend from 7AM to 4PM, and Thursdays bustle with activity from the weekly Farmer's Market. Several lots provide plentiful parking, but fees vary depending on the event.
