Pei Wei Asian Diner   

From the owners of the trendy Asian bistro, P.F. Chang's, comes a little brother of sorts by the name of Pei Wei Asian Diner. At this super-casual eatery, order your food at the counter after which you take a number to your table and await delivery in a few short minutes. The menu here is a broad representation of Asian cuisine with Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. Begin with an order of cool and crispy chicken lettuce wraps, edamame beans or spring rolls. Then follow it up with a steaming hot rice or noodle bowl filled with things like tofu, shrimp, scallops and lobster. Their signature dishes ask you to choose the meat you want and how you'd like it prepared. Most popular are the Blazing Noodles, Mongolian and Asian Coconut Curry. Don't be fooled by the multi-ethnic and authentic food, though; this place is totally a chain right down to the bright colors and designer look. But the prices match, so as Martha Stewart would say, "It's a good thing."
