In ShortOffering a different slant on the typical all-you-can-eat meal, this Brazilian-style steakhouse serves patrons "Rodizio" style. Diners pay a fixed price, then knife-wielding--though friendly--waiters in authentic gaucho garb carve slow-roasted meats tableside. A double-sided chip is used to signal to the waiters if you're finished (green for go, red for stop). A vast salad bar is also included. Soaring cathedral ceilings and a large dining room are made more intimate by the rock-lined walls and dark wood accents.

Inconsistant with the meats
By ocfotoman on 01/24/2006
I found the restaurant to be very inconsistant as far as food. Service was very good. Salad bar was nice, with unusual items. Shrimp was larger than normal, quality of all the items were good. The inconsistancy came with the meats and side dishes. Mashed potatoes were almost cold. Bacon wrapped fillet was all bacon and little meat, and the filet was overcooked, tough and dry. The filet mignon, on the other hand, was beautifully medium rare and juicy. Lamb chops were excellent, even though a little well done to my liking! Tri tip was juicy and flavourful, however rib meat was fatty and greasy. Strip steak was too well done and a little tough, although the tasty salsa provided on the table made it more edible. I'm glad I went once, although not sure if I will go back a second time, considering the price is rather high. I doubt I will be recommending the restaurant until I try other Brasilian steak houses in the area. My main suggestion would be to offer a choice of rare, medium rare, medium and well done meats for the diner to chose from. At their prices, they can certainly afford to do that. I wish them well, and hope they will be able to iron out their inconsistancies, because they have a lot going for them.

I visited this restaurant about 6 weeks ago. The food and service were amazing. Great atmosphere, great staff. Its $$$$ in terms of price, but its a true dining experience for a unique occasion.
