Bad to the Bone BBQ   

With old rifles nailed to the wall and checkered clothes cloaking the collection of tables, Bad to the Bone looks like something out of the Wild West. Located in the very civilized San Juan Capistrano, this barbecue joint is the real McCoy featuring a slow-roasted method over hickory and applewood that lasts for 12 to 24 hours. The result is tender meat that literally falls off the bone and is transferred directly from the pit to the plate. You can create a several course meal by adding a salad, ample-size baked potato and soup to your meal. There are also several Family Packages -- some that serve up to 25 people -- for larger parties. Although Bad to the Bone does offer beer and wine, it's still wise to BYOB: Bring Your Own Bib!
