Never mind that a Chuck E. Cheese is but a few hundred feet to the west of Brooklyn Pizza Works -- if its family-friendly fun youre looking for, bypass the rodent-endorsed chain and go with BPW. The standard pizza here is spartan in presentation: crisp brown crust, tangy marinara, and toppings almost haphazardly tossed about. Its exactly the way you'll find the pizza at an old-school New York City by-the-slice pizzeria. Of course, you can always experiment with a house creation like the Hot Maggie, which comes with Alfredo sauce, Chianti and hot peppers. BPW has no coin-operated games that spit out redeemable coupons, but draws kids and adults alike with its yummy food.
