How can you possibly go wrong ordering at a pizzeria with a name like Giovanni's? Located near the corner of Harbor Boulevard and Imperial Highway in Fullerton, Giovanni's Pizza is a slice of heaven; consider that the sauce is homemade and they're generous with the cheese. But Giovanni's isn't all about pizza. There's also a selection of sandwiches, including the restaurant's over-the-top meatball variety, as well as salads. The ambiance is lively as well; the restaurant is rarely without a celebrating soccer or baseball team, and there are plenty of video game machines to keep the kids entertained until the pie arrives.

Try the Grinder
By Mwpayne31 on 10/17/2008
Giovannis did have the besy Italian food in Orange County from the 60's until the mid-80's. The original family sold it and it went through a bad period. It is back now though, once again serving some of the best food in the O.C. The original location was just off Harbor Blvd. near the downtown area, and the aroma just walking in would cause your mouth to water. The best thing on the menu is the grinder. Whether it's the ham, roast beef or the traditional, the dressing they use is still the original receipe and can't be beat. Try it, you will not be disapointed.

Not the Giovanni's I know
By Pnupgrlfan on 07/25/2008
My family had been going to the original Giovanni's since the 1950's. It was run by the Codospotti (spelling?) family. Well it was sold by the family in the 90's, the menu changed, was sold and changed to a bar & grill, then changed back to Giovanni's again. Only thing is, the food isn't the same. It is good, but not even close to what it once once. The family recipes are gone. The original Giovanni's DID have THE BEST pizza I've ever had outside of NY. This incarnation is good, but not great.
