Tim And Dave's Review

I was at first suprised when lowest price entree was over $21 because this rating service reported nominal price under $16.00 (The actual price range was $21.95 lowest to $64.95 for steak and lobster. The median price was $29.95) We were celebrating a relatives birthday and ordered 3 Top Sirlion steaks and the Prime Rib 16oz cut. They have a feature called a visual menu. The waiter brings around a cart that shows the various menu items in their raw state. These, we were assured, are representative of the actual food that is cooked to order for each patron. The Top Sirloin steaks we actually received were actually about 1/2 the size indicated on the visual menu. When the waiter was questioned about this, he replied in a condescending manner,"Madam, there is some reduction with cooking". (I have never seen a 50% reduction in size with cooking) Out of 3 steaks ordered medium well and butterflied, 1 steak came out medium, the other 2 came out charbroiled well. One of the overcooked steaks came out cold. When we looked for the waiter to bring the cold steak to his attention, We did not see him again for over 20 minutes. Many of our co-patrons were also complaining of the service. Th (truncated)

I went to Trabuco Oaks Steakhouse in Trabuco Canyon last night. What a great experience! Great steaks and a very unique dining experience for those tired of the conventional restaurant!

Once was..could be again. If your in central Orange County or near Disneyland....get a fork and knife. It's the closest you'll get to a great steak.
