Johnny Rebs' Southern Roadhse   

At first glance, Johnny Rebs' looks like some sort of new Knott's Berry Farm attraction: The rickety-looking roadhouse is constructed with worn wooden planks, sheet metal and used brick, but it's all just a facade. Johnny Rebs' is actually the home of some of the best southern cooking and soul food in Orange County. Naturally, barbecue is king here. The ribs are a classic staple, but waiters confirm that the BBQ beef sandwich with a side of collard greens and sweet potato fries are the most common item ordered (of course, the fried catfish with southern slaw and hush puppies is a close second). If you have an hour to spare in the morning before work, indulge in the restaurant's old fashioned country breakfast: The barbecue omelet, the blackened catfish and eggs and the biscuits and gravy are just three of over 35 morning dishes in which to indulge.
