Family Dinner
By CrystalIns on 03/02/2009
Recently took family for a birthday dinner to Mr. Stox. The food was the best; and the service was fantastic. We had a party of eight and didn't have to wait for anything. If its been a while since you been there, now is the time to go back.. Oh yeah, great piano bar! Our server was Kenny and he was the best. Our rating is 5 Stars...

Simply Amazing, Appraises to Chef Scott Razeck
By LivingExhile16 on 01/22/2009
Food was cooked perfectly! I know there are mixed reviews about this place, but now that Scott Razeck is running the kitchen, it's been on the rise ever since. Went there on a weekday evening and got a warm welcome as soon as we entered. Sat down and were told of the daily specials and continued to order from there. Everything that came out was hot, fresh, and seasonal. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an amazing meal. Bring cash for valet (required).

Check your car afterwards
By xxfascinationxx on 11/03/2007
After recently taking a relative to dinner at this establishment, I must warn potential customers about the sticky-fingered valets in the parking lot first. After a lackluster meal (the food was incredibly salty) and poor service (blamed on the large party in the back room by our incompetent server), we returned to our car to discover the center console opened slightly, and then proceeded to examine the interior of the console for our spare change and other items. I could not believe my eyes when I discovered that all of the spare change that had been placed inside the console earlier that day was missing. Although the amount of money that was missing is rather insignificant, I cannot help but think how many other customers have been "ripped off" by these valets, even if it is just $2.00 or $3.00. In fact, if the valets removed this amount from every car that was valet-parked at the restaurant (by the way, the valet parking is mandatory), it seems as if these valets would have quite a bit of "change" at the end of each evening. When we walked back into the restaurant to address this issue before driving away, we were treated rather unprofessionally by the management staff, and were told that they were not "in charge" of the valets, as that is a private company. Needless to say, we will not be back to Mr. Stox, which has servers giving excuses that you would expect to find at your local Denny's and food that is mediocre, at best. Trust me, I know fine dining establishments, and although one might be plunking down a C-note at the end of a meal at this restaurant, along with the spare change from one's car being "donated" to the valets, it is evident that Mr. Stox is not a fine dining experience.
