Somehow deviating from the whole "family atmosphere" that is generally associated with Disney, Mannequins Dance Palace is the place to go for a club experience full of force and adrenaline. Often noted as one of the premiere nightclubs in the nation, Mannequins has all of the flashy goodies including a spinning dance floor, thousands of glittery lights, and all kinds of special effects such as smoke, bubbles, and snow.Where dancing is concerned, Mannequins is the place to really strut your stuff. Above the main dance floor grooves the club's own Pleasure Island Explosion Dancers, and the regular visitors have worked out so many spectacular bump-and-grind routines that you may quickly feel intimidated if you aren't already a dancing pro. Thursdays are especially hot as it's Mannequins DV8 night, a retro-progressive party where dancers swing and sway to their old '80s favorites like Depeche Mode and Devo.Mannequins is the place to be in Orlando if you're very much into the spandex- clad, sex sells kinda club scene. It's definitely a big show, and how you look and the way you move make all the difference here. If you're looking for a more-relaxed scene you may want to try one of the other wonderful clubs on Pleasure Island. Then again, an experienced clubber with their own style and moves wouldn't settle for anything less than this spectacular display of music and motion.
