Named for Thailand's famous three-wheeled motorcycle taxis, the Tuk-Tuk Bar is a hip hideaway amidst Wall Street Plaza's booming nightlife scene. Connected to Slingapour's and the Globe Cafe by a carved wooden door, the bar's Asian influence continues with the presence of a sushi kitchen at the rear -- it's good fun to chat with the chefs as they deftly whip up elaborate rolls with a flash of the knife and a swipe of the nori paper. Three-dollar Bacardi cocktails, offered from 4PM-7PM daily, are an enticing happy hour lure. And if you're looking for a respite from the loud live music scenes at the surrounding Wall Street bars, this is a good place to chill out -- while you can't help but hear the spillover tunes, groovy lounge music tones things down at Tuk-Tuk.
