Amura Japanese Restaurant   

We have tried many places in Orlando for sushi and this is our favorite of all. Only one time out of about 10 visits or so was the service less than excellent, but the food has always been fabulous. It isn't cheap but it is well worth it for the creative menu and relaxed, romantic atmosphere. The sushi rolls are generous in size, too.

The sushi at Amura's still is very good. I eat at the downtown location fairly often, at least once a week. Over the past few months, the service has gotten very, very bad. This includes lunches and dinners. When I spoke with the manager on duty, she pointed to the help wanted sign out frontl and said they were very short staffed. The last 6 or 7 times I have been there we have waited at least 45 minutes to get our food, even if the place was not that full. Unfortunatly, I will no longer be dining at Amura's due to the extremly bad service.
