Rate and Write a Review In the same spot that used to house the ultra-trendy D'Vine Wine Bar, this down-home sports bar and restaurant has opened up. In fact, the same folks behind D'Vine are also responsible for the Florida Tap Room, and they seem to have regrouped, and headed in the totally opposite direction. A digital jukebox, Golden Tee and Big Buck Hunter games line the walls, and scores of steins hang over the long bar. The walls are bedecked with framed Sports Illustrated issues and other game-day paraphernalia. Preppy twenty and thirty-somethings living in MetroWest pack the bar during football season -- particularly on Monday nights, or anytime the Bucs or the Miami Dolphins are playing. And the menu couldn't be more appropriate for a sports bar -- if you like your grub greasy and satisfying, this is your spot. Starters include all the usual waistline offenders, like wings and mozzarella sticks. For something different, try the Tap Room crab cakes. There are a handful of burger options, as well as grilled chicken and grouper sandwiches. And pizzas and salads (opt for the Mandarin chicken salad, it's a meal in itself) make a showing on the menu, too. Carnivores with monster appetites will appreciate the full rack of baby back ribs. The restaurant, which morphs into a happening local watering hole on most nights, prides itself on the range of Florida brews on tap. Wash your meal down with a cold pint of Shipyard, brewed right here in O-Town.
