This Winter Park nightspot draws its largely Puerto Rican, Colombian and Dominican crowd from all over Orange and surrounding counties for authentic Latino music and dancing all weekend long. Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, DJ Ralphie and DJ William spin salsa, merengue, Dominican 'bachata,' Colombian rumba and Spanish reggae for the late-20s crowd that packs the dance floor at La Carambola. Occasionally, you'll hear some disco in the mix, too. The full-liquor bar offers moderately priced drinks, and while you won't find a great selection of Latino beers, you can count on the staple domestics and imports. The club used to be open Thursday nights for Old School Salsa and dance lessons, but unfortunately, for the present at least, those nights are a thing of the past. La Carambola's definitely got your Latino dance cravings covered on the weekends though, with Saturday nights pulling the largest and most lively crowd. -- Terry Ward
