Rate and Write a Review Sandwiched on the second floor between jam-packed Chillers and the Latitudes rooftop bar, this Church Street watering hole has been quenching the thirst of beer connoisseurs since 1999. Its red-bricked walls and dark wooden floors create a relaxing ambience from the frenetic college scene downstairs, and the four stainless-steel fermenters (not in use anymore, unfortunately) give the place that homey brewpub feel.Economics forced the shutdown of the fermenters, which used to churn out microbrews like the Big Belly Blonde, Fat Amber and wildly popular Bad Ass Brown, but the owners aren?t ruling out a return to microbrew supremacy in the near future. In the meantime, patrons can enjoy the varied selection of delectable brews (18 in all) available on tap. Wednesday night's legendary happy hour packs in the crowds for nickel beers from 5-7:30PM, and happy hour (4:30-7:30PM) features $2 pints and some surprisingly tasty finger food (Fridays only).
