The Rock 'n' Roll Beach Club is the most accessible of the Pleasure Island clubs. Pretty much anyone accompanied by an adult is welcome. This is great for parents and their kids, but it may upset a more fickle, "traditional club" crowd. The club opens at 10pm and closes past most kids' bedtime, 2am. This club takes up a two-story building, requiring guests to climb a staircase to the second floor entrance. There is ample dancing room upstairs. The larger dance floor is on the ground level, as is the stage where live bands play classic oldies, as well as urban contemporary standards. When the band is not performing, music comes from the house DJ spinning Top-40 hits. Basically, everything from Jimmy Buffet to the Backstreet Boys and Joan Jett to Christina Aguilera. The Rock n Roll Beach Club also provides three bars and plenty of tables. Since the theme here is "beach," several drinks on the menu involve fruity concoctions such as Bahama Mama's, Strawberry Daiquiris and Tequila Sunrises. Between the bland-and-outdated music, the obnoxious interior design and more teenagers than anyone cares to see at a club, it's difficult to rave about this place. Then again, the target audience of the Rock 'n' Roll Beach Club is less "hard-core" about it's partying, and more interested in a good time for them and their children. To those who are looking for just that, rock on!

Bad sound tech? I thought the band was just as bad as the quality of the mix. What is up with playing milli vanilli, elvis and barry manilow??? Better change the name from ROCK AND ROLL Beach Club to ROLAIDS AND TUMS screach Club.

This night club has it all, live music from two fantastic bands, five bars, a big dance floor, and friendly DJs. Residents should definatelyt invest in the annual pass...go three times and it is paid for.
