The ultimate 'it' spot at the uber-upscale Mall at Millenia arrived on the scene in 2005, and Orlando's singles scene hasn't been the same since. Blue Martini -- a Florida chain with outposts in West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale and Tampa -- is a beautiful people bastion, where being over-35 and all-natural (read: no silicone) might just give you image issues. The martini bar is worthy of its name, with exotic variations that taste just like an Almond Joy candy bar and liquid caramel. With most martinis priced upwards of $12, you pay for the privilege of mingling with eligible singles in the bar's sexy surrounds. At the risk of looking cheap, show up during happy hour, from 4PM-7PM nightly, when martinis are reduced to a reasonable six bucks a pop (just tell the ladies you're looking to start the night early). The bar is divided into several areas including a VIP room, the stage room where bands perform nightly, a back bar and an outdoor terrace complete with its own bar and spectacular parking lot vistas. They enforce a dress code here after 6PM, which means no t-shirts and baseball hats for the guys. For the ladies, it's more lenient - considering the fact the Blue Martini servers are almost exclusively female and dress like they're in a Spring Break best body competition, almost anything goes.

The Beautiful Ones.....NOT!
By Phrstybrwn69 on 06/10/2008
I went to this establishment because I heard it was the "IN" place. I'm still looking for the idiot that told me that. I must admit its a nice place but I'm in my 30's I would like to socialize with people who don't need to wear almost nothing to get attention or have t heir breast implants on display (in case you're wondering I'm all natural) Or their newly injected collegen lips blocking the bathroom mirrors. . Or get so drunk it takes two hold you up. And get this 60 year men there to catch them when they fall! Easy prey! All in all the drinks were reasonable price, and the food was fabulous it was just hard to get in dance or enjoy anything because it was so many people there. I wish them well, but this should be labeled a teenage party on the tourist guide. Ciao

So weird how many peopole had issues with their credit card I went there april '07 opened a tab and when I was ready to go my waitress dissapeared then the bartender gave me attitude when I was looking for the manager who walked away without a word to me suddenly found the waitress and my card she was trying to hug me and apologize I just wanted my card so I could go home the manager was nowhere to be found. WARNING do not open a tab there obviously there is an issue there.

I can not STAND this place!
By foru24evernv on 07/25/2007
The barbie doll servers were obnoxious to me. I asked for a drink called the "Three chocolate martini" which is a featured drink in their menu. The bartender began to make me three separate chocolate martinis. I started laughing and explaining to her what she was doing wrong. She got angry and slammed the glass on the bar. That is $12 I will never waste again. They are too pricey and the place is full of balding, middle-aged single men who are looking for a quick bang.

I like Blue Martini but...
By jcstahm on 04/09/2007
My experiences at Blue Martini were good except one occassion. It all happend on the same night my server was forgetful on this night, and at the end of the night the credit card system went down. They basically had kept our credit cards hostage but we weren't accommodated for the extra hour and a half they kept us "captive" no drinks not even water was offered for the inconvenience.
