Cape May Cafe   

Brightly colored beach umbrellas line up on the perimeter just as colorful canvas chairs hang on the walls. The buffet table in Cape May Cafe is festooned with fishnets, treasures from the deep and miniaturized harbor towns. The restaurant's pink walls are accented with stark white and blue trim, and the murals depicting a day at the beach perfectly capture leisure and recreation on the New England shore. The food is passable, featuring a nightly clambake, with a "bakemaster" ceremoniously lifting the lid on a steamer oven to pronounce the start of the meal. Steamed clams, mussels, assorted baked fish, pasta and sirloin beef tips, chicken and barbecued ribs, veggies, corn on the cob, potatoes, and salad and dessert bars are on the main buffet station. There also is a kids buffet available. The popular restaurant can fill up quickly with resort guests, mostly families. At Goofy's Beach Club character breakfast, guests choose from an assortment of standard and some unique breakfast foods, scrambled eggs, potatoes, waffles, quiche and grits.
