Here's how cut-rate Cheap Guys is: until recently their shop was actually in a flea market. We're talking about bottom-dollar computing here. These days, however, they're not dealing in recycled PS2s as much as they're custom-building systems from new parts, with licensed Intel and Microsoft products. You'll still want to take a peek at the used equipment corner, which is always pretty interesting -- Amiga anyone? All this means you get a real computer, not gray-market hand-me-downs. How about a full system for less than $500? The University of Central Florida kids love this place so much that several of them work here.

Component failure warning!
I recently purchased a motherboard from Cheap Guys Computers & paid them to install it too. The motherboard was defective and although it is still under warranty, they refuse to swap it out with the manufacturer, Bio Star. On top of that, they charged me a $50 diagnostic fee. Aparently the term "Cheap" no longer applies to their name or service. Cheap Guys should be renamed "Ripoff Computers" or "Defective Computers."
