Take a look at Hanks from the outside and you may not be too impressed. Walk inside and take a peek at the collection of pool tables, dart boards, and the small crowd around the jukebox and you still might not be thrilled to be here. But start mingling and talking to the other visitors and you'll certainly be glad you came.Hanks is one of the friendliest bars in the area, and offers a great place for Orlando's homosexual community to meet and greet one another daily. Serving only beer and wine and offering little other than the entertainment of the jukebox, it is pretty amazing that this place has become so popular. But Hanks has gained quite a few regulars, and has quickly made a name for itself as the place to go to talk and just hang out. The patio is usually the hottest spot at Hanks, but no matter where you turn you're sure to see plenty of smiling faces.
