Rate and Write a Review Named for its perch on the 28th floor of the Bank of America building in downtown Orlando, Manuel's on the 28th dishes up contemporary cuisine with one of the best views in town. It's a special-occasion spot, where twinkling candlelight enhances birthday and anniversary celebrations, and romance is in the air. Art-glass lamps, Lenox china and fine crystal glassware can make any date seem like a special one. Start with the baby spinach and Stilton salad topped with black walnuts, shiitake croutons and a warm apple-wood bacon vinaigrette. Innovative preparations of seafood, lamb, veal, steak and duck are all present on the menu. Try the miso-marinated Chilean sea bass, served with seaweed salad and lotus root. The phyllo-wrapped lamb loin with mint pesto is also popular, as is the smoked confit of duck topped with boursin, tart apples and aged balsamic syrup. Dinner for two could easily top $200. But a more affordable option is the fixed-price menu, which includes an appetizer, soup or salad, main course and dessert for around $50 per person. If you arrive while it's still light out, ask for a table facing west. Floor-to-ceiling windows allow magical sunset views while you enjoy your meal.
