Fans of P.F. Chang's China Bistro -- and lord knows there are many -- can get their stir-fry fix in a flash at this sister eatery that delivers similar eats in a fast-food environment. Named after the refugee son of a Chinese master chef, Pei Wei's (say ''Pay Way'') is counter service only, but your meal is delivered to your table after you order, upping the convenience factor. Most dishes are made to order and you can choose from various configurations of meat, vegetables and herb-infused sauces. Asian food fans are covered as the menu offers Thai, Vietnamese, Korean and Japanese preparations in addition to the Chinese standards. Among the noodle and rice bowl options are Pad Thai and the Soba-Miso bowl with buckwheat noodles and red miso sauce. All 11 signature dishes (with options like orange peel, honey seared and coconut curry) come with your choice of beef, chicken or seafood, and almost everything can be prepared purely vegetarian, too. There are a few salad options, while P.F. Chang's legendary lettuce wraps get a nod as well -- choose from minced chicken or chili seared pork as a filling. The decor here is hip and utterly refreshing for a fast food eatery with the red and black motif enhanced with wood beam ceilings and sharp, modern lines. Another perk?
