The dining room is bedecked with scores of classic-to-contemporary paintings, and the centerpiece of the room is a rare Imperial Grand Bosendorfer piano -- one of only two in the world. Power lunchers pack the place midday for gourmet sandwiches and exotic soups, like the cognac lobster bisque. In the evening, recessed lighting and art glass lamps set the mood for a romantic meal of asparagus-encrusted diver scallops, prosciutto-wrapped grouper, or the popular filet mignon, which is prepared with a rich truffle demi-glace. Artsy touches include edible flower garnishes and most creations almost look too pretty to eat. The Sunday jazz brunch is an uber-elegant affair worth the splurge, with everything from sushi and raw oysters to house smoked salmon, game selections, carving stations and exquisite desserts on tap.
