It may not be much to look at from the outside, but PR's offers the best chimichangas in town -- and that's reason enough to brave the parking chaos, speeding trains and railroad tracks to sample the Chicano grub served up at this venerable Winter Park hangout. Rollins College kids dig the grafitti-riddled, kitschy interior straight out of Tijuana (they even encourage diners to scribble messages on the wall), not to mention the variety of Mexican dishes on the menu. Order the stuffed jalapeno poppers (filled with cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese) before diving into the crispy, deep-fried chimichangas, which come topped with a savory ranchero sauce. You'll feel like a stuffed pinata after sampling the stuffed green chilies, filled with blackened chicken, then lightly fried and topped with a spicy cream sauce, pepper jack cheese and served with refried beans and rice. Do-it-yourselfers can mix and match from a variety of enchiladas, tacos and tostadas, while vegetarians will enjoy sinking their teeth into the humongous veggie burrito or chimi. When the train rumbles by, ignore the quaking floor and rush to the bar for a $1.75 shot of tequila. -- Faiyaz Kara Inside Tip: Ask for the "hot" salsa.

Im personally insulted by this top 10 mexican food list. PR Tacos???? Their food was nasty americanized so called mexican food. Try Azteca De Oro in south orlando and you will never, EVER go to this place again. This place was terrible. The food sucks, the atmosphere sucks. I have no idea why this even made top 10. People dont understand what real mexican food is. Flavor is lacking.

The food , service and unkept ness make it impossible to enjoy It has gone downhill my first visits there close to 20 years ago- it seems like owners/mgmt. have just let thewhole business slide. Go a few miles west to PACO's which is the best and has been for 20+ years.
