Heaven   

Friends and I went there on a Saturday night for Palm Springs Gay Pride 2007 Weekend. All the bars were crowded (of course) and the lines were huge. We decided to go to Heaven because it supposedly had something special going on inside. We after a $30 COVER CHARGE we went in and there are 2 bars in a NOTHING SPECIAL gutted out, strip mall style box space. They had a little stage were shirtless boys with jeans on twirled flags all night. BIG DEAL!!!! The music was painful REPETITIOUS trance-like music where a crowd of shirtless CRYSTAL-HEADS bobbed around. I felt completely ripped off (whether I paid or not). I left after 1 hour deciding never to go back. Go to some of the other bars where people will chat (Hunters, Toucans, Sidewinders). They are free and have hotter men.

What a fun club! Great music, friendly staff, lots of space. Every time I'm there I see hot guys on the dance floor. And I love the new bar. WAY TO GO!

Just to clear up some mis-information: Yes, the club is no longer called Heaven. It never closed, but changed ownership and became Oasis on July 1, 2006. Oasis may not be an original name, but since the theme for the bar is water, and it is in the desert, it fits. The club still has a great sound and lighting system. It also has a new game room, open-air patio, and a beautiful new lounge bar with a bamboo waterfall. It's amazing!
