McCormick's is one of just a few bars in the Coachella Valley owned and operated by the musician who performs there. John McCormick and his wife Gigi wear all the hats around the place, from the office to the stage. John sings standards with Felix and Company in a Las Vegas- style show that you'd be hard pressed not to enjoy. John and his audience love the slow dance numbers, which is a good thing because the band performs plenty of them. John's shows run on Thursdays through Saturdays, with a $5 cover charge on weekend nights during the season. On Tuesday nights, Gigi shines as she heads up the karaoke department, while Wednesdays are devoted to swing music. McCormick's has been honored with a vote as Best Live Entertainment in the Coachella Valley. -- Denise Fondo
