L G's Prime Steakhouse   

After reading some of the reviews listed here I almost didnt visit LG's, good thing I did not listen to there advise, I am new to the area and love to eat out, i have tried the national player steakkhouse here in the desert and found them to be more of McSteakhouses. This locally owned restaurant has a flavor all its own, (I even met the owner on my first visit). Service in the Palm Springs restaurant is excellent and the food is wonderful. It is very hard to find a good dry aged steak anywhere but they do theirs to perfection. Their wine list is as good as the food,about 500 selections the waiter told us, WOW! Keep up the good work LG

FREAK SHOW

I have heard nothing but wonderful things about LG Prime Steakhouse? On Sunday evening a friend and I decided to try it maybe we should have ordered a steak but we ordered prime rib- it had an enourmous amount of fat (something like you might get at a coffee house) the creamed spinach was very good but too cold and the fried potatoes were soaked in oil. We told the waiter that the meat was full of fat he just replied "yaa it is? " No one else ask how everything was? Not a manager nor a hostess as we left. However, the creme brulee was delicious. The waiter did not offer to replace the meat, discount the meal or even a complimentary dessert? The meal was too expensive for mediocre service and luke warm food. I think next time we will try the Chop House across the street. We both have read that your restaurant is one of the top "10" in magazine's when traveling by air. We were both disappointed?

I HAVE BEEN TO LG'S 4 TIMES IN THE LAST 3 MONTHS, WE DINED AT THEIR LA QUINTA SITE. WE FIND THE STEAKS EXCELLENT AND THE SERVICE THE SAME. LOCAL GUY MAKES GOOD.........
