This nationally-registered, 100-year hotel, is an exquisite B&B, right in the heart of Center City. Each room is tastefully decorated rooms and filled with deco-inspired furniture. The theme of the hotel is seaworthy - nautical lights, marble mosaic floor tiling and prints of historic Philadelphia line the narrow hallways. Owner Mel Heifitz says he modeled it after a 1930s cruise ship. Of the 48 rooms in the hotel, some have an excellent city skyline view (if you're willing to pay a bit more). Rooms start at $89 and include private baths, Direct TV with cable channels and phones with modem ports. They also have a free, 24-hour fitness center and serve a breakfast buffet every morning that includes fresh baked goods, cereals, juices, fruits, and beverages.
