Philadelphia's stylish Four Seasons is a high- class establishment with a congenial atmosphere. The lobby level's abundant greenery, rose marble, plus blond woods instantly sets a mood of warm intimacy. Spacious guest rooms set out Federal Period furniture, yet are also up-to-date, with high-speed Internet access and data ports. The staff is renowned for stellar service which helps explain why this property has garnered a coveted AAA Five Star Diamond Award seventeen years running and is regularly rated as one of the top hotels in the country by Zagat's. A gourmand's paradise, the luxurious Fountain Restaurant features lavish flowers and exquisite table settings while serving contemporary fare that nets a national reputation. Look out the windows to get a great view of Alexander Calder's glorious Swann Memorial Fountain. Four Season's Swann Lounge and Caf is a popular brunch spot as well as a favored watering hole for the city's cultural set, which makes sense because this hotel is located along the Ben Franklin Parkway a Paris-like boulevard that straddles some of the city's finest cultural institutions, including the Rodin Museum, Philadelphia Museum of Art, The Academy of Natural Sciences and The Franklin Institute. Amenities abound, including 24-hour room service, terry cloth bathrobes, in-room safes, baby- sitting, multi-lingual concierge, massage and other body treatments. -- Deni Kasrel

Perfection with a Smile!

Ahh...to have the pleasure of staying at The Four Seasons, especially when it is at the expense of someone else's wallet! From the moment you arrive, you are treated like royalty! They spoil you with 24-hour business assistance, complimentary town cars for tooling around Center City; concierge consultation; plus a health club and spa (no hair salon), indoor pool, whirlpool, saunas, massage rooms and gym; A great place to hold a meeting, as they have 10,000 square feet of meeting/function space. Some of the rooms; (including their 99 suites) have nice views of Logan Square, Calder's Swann Fountain, or the Museum of Art. Each room indulges you with oversized towels, down pillows, thick bathrobes; two multi-line phones, voicemail, Internet connections; and fax machines. Computers are available. Of course, you will also find well-stocked minibars. The hotel offers two dining options: The Swann Lounge (less formal) where you can enjoy the fireplace, in cozy over-stuffed chairs while sipping the perfect martini. The Fountain, is the more formal and top-rated dining experience. My only complaint is the service is so S-L-O-W, although some might consider it relaxed; it was way too slow for my taste...(subtracted a star for painstakingly slow service!) If you have little ones...they allow them to choose a toy from the reception's overflowing basket, and spoil them with pre-bedtime milk and cookies...makes me want to be a kid, again! Their gym houses a number of treadmills, stationary bikes, elliptical machines, and also the Cadillac of weight-lifting machines, THE VECTRA! The will provide you with a jogging map for the local area, if you so desire... There is nothing they will not do at The Four Seasons to make your stay blissful!
