Philadelphia's self-proclaimed "friendliest gay bar" is a three-story facility with five bars that has been going strong for more than 20 years. It's tucked away on Juniper Street in downtown Philadelphia, just north of Locust Street, about a block and a half from the Academy of Music. The lunch-only restaurant offers standard American cuisine and includes specials every day. In fact, everything is a special. All of the items -- manicotti, garden salads -- are $3. There's TV and a jukebox. Metered parking is hard to find but a big, ugly parking garage is located right across the street. Key west is cash-only. The house figures you can afford those $3 meals. -- David McKenna

that was the olny place left in philly where black gay older men could go after work and have a nice time.I'm going to miss it

As far as key west goes it looks like no one has put up a review in years.
as for the club it was very nice a sports bar on the side main bar in fron bar upstairs but it deppends on what you are looking for.
the club is a black gay club now me I'm not into black guys (not to sound pregitced)i'm just not into it.
If you like black men it is the place for you
there is no better spot in town to find a cool black guy and have some fun after you get threw the maze of husslers all over the street on juniper they are everywhere but they are cool they don't bother you they ask you say no it ends there keep walking if you are looking for husslers thats the spot out on the street there at juniper& locust st
if you go there the people are cool they don't bother you and if you party till 2. am check out the pure around the corner it's allot of fun.
